‘There are two ways to be fooled.
One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.’
Soren Kierkegaard (1813-1855)
Maybe there is a third way….
To believe there is something to be believed.
Whatever we believe with certainty holds our consciousness within the vibration of that belief or concept. If challenged, we justify our beliefs with logic. If not challenged we can maintain a belief that relies on false logic and never even realise.
This path of ours includes continually transcending false logic, which is a form of illusion. Many of the most genuine-sounding concepts are riddled with falsity and illusion. I see part of our job, as overcomers of the whole illusion, being to recognise these false logic paths, not engage in them and thereby release our consciousness from their subtle hold.
What are we pioneering?
My feeling is that our most powerful work is done at the soul level and we are physically here for a two-fold purpose.
One purpose is to consciously connect with our own inner source, or soul, which carries vastly higher vibrations. By achieving this we are then able to bodily ‘download’ and then hold those higher vibrations within our physical, emotional and mental bodies.
The other purpose is to utterly transcend the existential illusion, in order to open up the pathway potential for all humans to do so too.
This is first raising our consciousness, which can be described as embodying our Soul’s higher vibrations, and then taking the emotions, mind and finally the body out of the illusion that humanity is presently living within.
Using the mind to free the mind
Everything in this matrix only serves as tools and methods, it is not consciousness itself – including all this here that I am offering. Here we are using the diminished mind to evolve out of its diminished state.
The mind is just a tool of consciousness and it has been hijacked by illusory concepts. It has been empowered with disempowering beliefs. What a trip!!!
Why are these writings focusing on the mind?
There are many people out there who are focusing on the emotions and on the body and I applaud them. Whilst we are working on those aspects of our diminishment it is often too much to address the mind as well.
We are told that we have to transcend the mind, that spirituality is not about the mind, that we have a ‘monkey-mind,’ the mind is dangerous, and so on and so on.
Some new age circles believe it is unnecessary to engage the mind, whilst some actually believe it is dangerous to address the mind (other than silencing it) and there is a general tendency to disengage from the mind as though it were an enemy of our development. ‘Stick with the heart,’ they say, ‘and all will be well.’
The only trouble is that our false-logic neural pathways are so deeply embedded that they really feel (which is what the heart does) real and we NEVER question them. To question them involves the mind. The deeply embedded neural pathway that says, ‘don’t use the mind,’ or ‘the mind is a slippery and dangerous beast to be avoided,’ slides or loops us back to ‘go with what you feel.’ So the false logics are never even spotted, let alone addressed.
Many steps to Consciousness Evolution
Please realise that I do not think that working with the mind is the be-all and end-all of evolving our consciousness. I see it one of the many steps in consciousness evolution….. one that many of us are now ready for.
Once we have mastered the emotions – as many of us now have, at least to a large degree – we are able to connect much more strongly with our inner soul and then a different kind of work can begin; we can then work with freeing the mind because the emotions will not hamper our efforts.
To this end of freeing our minds, I will be posting about once a week investigating concepts which appear liberating but may in fact not be and I welcome you to the ongoing exploration.
